Data ASaP Support :

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of ASaP! The opening screen has a "Check for update" button. Click it if you are unsure.
  2. Carefully read the built-in help that ASaP! provides.
  3. Make sure you have the security settings (sometimes called access privileges) set up correctly on the server that your ASaP! generated pages are running on.
  4. Are you testing your pages on your local computer? If so, make sure you have made the necessary arrangements to do so. (see Help for more info)
  5. If you have modified the generated pages and still want support, you must purchase a support incident. This is considered custom database development.
  6. When contacting us, be sure to include the exact error message (if any) that you are receiving. Describe the steps taken that lead up to the situation you're wanting to correct. Consider attaching your .sss file from ASaP!

Tip

Note: You do not need to have a database and Web server running on your local machine to use Data Asap. Instead, you can use your Microsoft Access database file (or use a DSN to connect to your database) with Data Asap locally and then upload the generated pages to your Web server.

You can set up a simple shopping cart by using a hyperlink to link the items you are selling to a popular credit card processing service that is now International.

Benefits

Data Driven websites are dynamic! To keep a website up to date takes a lot of time and attention. With a database driven website the layout can be created once and then content can be stored in the database. The content can then be updated regularly by simply logging into an administration page and modifying the data.
